We love because He first loved us. – 1 John 4:19
Last night I found myself driving down a quiet country road I’d never traveled before. The sun was slipping gently beneath the horizon, painting the sky in hues of gold, rose, and lavender. As I rounded a bend in the road, I saw a little church standing alone against the fading light, and its sign read:
“Fall in love with Jesus.”
In that moment, my heart felt a rush of warmth and joy filled my soul, as if Heaven itself leaned close and whispered, “This is what life is truly about.” It felt like a divine reminder, an invitation to return to my first love. To pursue Jesus not out of obligation, but with the same tenderness, excitement, and wonder that we feel when love is new and vibrant.
Because His love is unlike any other.
His love rescues.
His love saves.
His love heals.
His love restores.
His love blesses.
Jesus never leaves. He never disappoints. His love does not fade, waver, or withdraw. It holds steady through every storm, every question, every season.
That little church sign felt like a love note from God, tucked into the sunset just for me. But maybe it’s for you too. A gentle call to draw near again. To slow down. To seek His heart. To fall in love with the One who has loved you all along.

Closing Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for loving me first and loving me always. When my heart grows distracted or distant, I ask that You gently draw me back to Your side. Help me slow down, seek Your presence, and remember the beauty of Your love. Teach me to love You not out of duty, but with a heart that is alive with wonder and gratitude. Let my life reflect the joy of knowing You and the peace of walking with You each day. Keep my heart close to Yours.
In Your precious name I pray.
Amen.
