Leia Marie is the founder, writer, and producer behind Soulshine Studio. Her desire is simply to share the love and light God has given her and hopes that the music and devotionals point people toward the God who loves them so very much. She is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and finds her deepest joy in loving others well, as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She feels most alive barefoot in nature, listening to the wind, watching the water move, or sitting quietly with a journal in hand. Music and writing have always been her companions, ways of turning prayers into songs and stories into healing. When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find her homeschooling her children, hiking and camping in the great outdoors, exploring and traveling with her family, or simply soaking in the sunshine and beauty of the world God made.

Our Mission

Soulshine Studio is the creative ministry division of the nonprofit Hearts & Hands. Our mission is to open our hearts and use our hands to share hope, show love, and be a light to those walking through life’s darkest seasons.
Through music, devotionals, and gifts of care, Soulshine offers gentle reminders that no one is ever alone and that God’s love remains steady, even in seasons of pain.

We envision a world where no one walks through life’s dark valleys alone. Where hearts are met with compassion, creativity becomes connection, and the light of Christ shines gently in places that feel heavy and unseen.

A Soulshine Letter:

There was a time when I wondered how all the pieces of my life fit together: my roles, my experiences, my passions, and even my hurts.
But little by little, God has been showing me something. All of these pieces of me, they are not separate at all. They are all places where I get to live in His love! He is weaving it all together into something really special.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)
This space, Soulshine Studio, and the work of Hearts & Hands, is simply an offering. It is my way of taking what God has given me and offering it back to Him in worship and service. The love I show others, the ways I take care of my family, the lessons I teach my children, the music I create, the devotionals I write, and the homeschool resources I build; they are not from me or about me. They are for God.
He is taking the broken places and bringing healing. He is taking the gifts He has a given and giving them purpose. He is taking every thread, every joy, every lesson, every season, and He is weaving something beautiful for His glory.
I don’t have it all figured out. I’m still learning, still growing, still surrendering. But I know this: my life is not about me, it’s about Him.
And whatever He chooses to do in me and through me, I offer it back to Him with open hands and a grateful heart.
